Scottish Adventure's Inaugural 'Summit' postponed until Summer

A major Scottish adventure community and adventure tourism conference has been put off due to the COVID pandemic.

Scottish Adventure's 'Summit 2022' event had been due to take place at 210 Bistro in Aberdeen this month as the first annual event of it's kind to bring the Scottish adventure community together to showcase it's achievements, member's stories and promoting Scotland as a adventure tourism destination.

However organisers said it would not be in the best interest of members, speakers, attendees and venue staff to proceed in the current climate and due to current Scottish Government restrictions and guidance.

It has been rescheduled for 18th June 2022 and will comprise of a number of outdoor day events and an indoor evening event.

"We are disappointed that our inaugural event will not go ahead as originally planned and there has been a mountain of effort put into preparing for the event in January. That said, there are benefits to us holding the event in summer and we look forward to packing even more into what was due to be a great first event." – Roy Milne, Chairman
