THE FORMAT
Durris Dash 2023 is a self-supported multiple checkpoint cycling and orienteering event where participants are given the location of six checkpoints within a 40km circumference of the event hub which they will need to ride to in order to collect stamps on their Rider Card. The check point locations are manned by our Event Volunteers armed with a stamp which has been sponsored by a local Scottish business (don't forget to look them up after the event!).
The location of the checkpoints will be issued by email to all registered participants 7 days prior to the event so you can decide:
- how many check point stamps you plan to collect
- which route you plan to take
- which type of bike will be best based on your route
- where the best photo opportunities and food stops will be
EVENT REGISTRATION, START & FINISH

Riders will set off at 10:00hrs after a short briefing and can take any route they choose collecting any amount of checkpoint stamps they wish in any order they choose. Once all the relevent checkpoint stamps have been collected, riders will proceed back to Event Hub to finish the event.
