Christmas Cairngorm Adventure

Imagine pedalling right out of your door into the wilds of the Cairngorms for two days of epic winter riding, then to come back in from the cold to a roaring fire and a grand festive meal with great craic and games!!

About the Event
You are invited to a christmas mountain biking adventure weekend in the heart of the Cairgorms!Â
We are lucky to have been offered Muir Cottage, near the Linn of Dee by Braemar (click here for Cottage info) for a couple of nights. The location is great with both rings of the Cairngorms loop and the Deeside Trail right outside the door and also trails near Ballater not too far away.Â
We have come up with a half-board itinerary so you can make the most of this adventure experience:Â
FRIDAY 3RD DECEMBER
18:00 - Arrive at Muir Cottage
19:30 - Chilli with garlic bread, beers / juice followed by drams by the fire
SATURDAY 4TH DECEMBER
09:00 - Cooked & continental breakfast
10:00 to 16:00 - MTB Trail No. 1
16:00 to 19:00 - Free time
19:30 - Dinner at Braemar Lodge Hotel
SUNDAY 5TH DECEMBER
09:00 - Bring your own breakfast
10:00 to 14:00 - MTB Trail No.2
14:00 to 15:00 - Free time
15:00 - Depart the CottageÂ
Here is what we will provide:Â
- Dorm-style accomodation for two nights (please bring your own sleeping bag and towels)
- Evening meal on the Friday
- Beers, Diet Coke and a bottle of Whisky (single malt mind, none of yer rubbish!)
- Breakfast on the Saturday including tea, coffee, milk and sugar
- Booking for an evening meal at Braemar Lodge Hotel on the Saturday
- Wood and coal for the fire
