VISION, MISSION, VALUES & LEADERSHIP

OUR VISION

Our vision is for Scotland to be the global destination for adventure activities.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to connect people who love adventure, with local businesses and the best route & destination information to enable people to experience the the best adventures in Scotland has to offer

OUR VALUES

Connect The Community

We create an inclusive environment for people to meet like-minded explorers who love Scotland and promote friendships to grow the adventure community.

Lead By Example

We see leadership as an action, not a position. We look for people’s values before competence and experience. People who ‘walk the talk’ and lead by example. It is about being our best self and bringing out the best in each other.

Enable Responsible Adventures

We will help people explore the Scottish landscape responsibly and will create opportunities for adventure by breaking down barriers which prevent it.

Support The Locals

We help develop the Scottish economy by promoting products and services provided by independently owned businesses who help people explore Scotland.

Leave No Trace

We think it's important to look after the very landscape we explore that's why we ensure we don't leave any trace that we were ever there and help ensure sustainability of the landscape.

Give And Take Responsibility

We believe in empowering people. Giving and taking responsibility are ways to grow and develop our community. Being positive, proactive and forward-looking inspires everyone to develop the positive effect our community can have.

STEVEN STRATHIE - DIRECTOR

Steve believes that "this wee country is best seen from a bike in the company of other like-minded people". He is dedicated to helping grow an organisation which connects the community of adventure riders whilst supporting local businesses.

Steve has been riding bikes for as long as he can remember. A chance watching of the film “American Flyers” led to a life-long love of cycling and thirst to use the bike to explore and see what’s round the next corner and over the next hill.

Steve has been fortunate to enjoy some of the best cycling that Europe has to offer from the French Alps and the white roads of Tuscany; to the bergs of Belgium. He is driven by helping others make the most of exploring Scotland by bike and come back with their own stories about spectacular scenery, epic routes and great coffee.
